12 oz. can. Can dated 09/07/16. 5.6% ABV per the label, so the recipe is different from the original. Pours a super thick gradually collapsing, then well retained, ivory head, with heavy lacing, over a hazy amber (SRM 8) body......nose is moderate citrus with lemon, orange tones, slight melon, mild malts, balance to the hops.....taste is lightly sweet with mild cereal, bread tones, from the malts, heavy lemon, orange, melon, finishing with moderate bitterness, balance to the hops.....mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, high carbonation with mild acid. This is a very atypical and different IPA with quite light malts, minimal centennial contribution, as a result is almost a fruit beer in both aroma and flavor. It is an easy drinking beverage, but almost not an IPA. BJCP 6/2/10/4/6 BeerRenter76 (1015) - Texas, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Mid copper body, suspended yeast floaters, the head is thick and pillowy. Aromas of melon, grapefruit, fresh cut grass with a slight pungent presence. Medium body with a mild carbonation bite. Flavor of citrus rind, grass and lemon finish. gringo332 (640) - Richardson, Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2016
Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Smells like citrus juice and tropical fruits. Taste is fruity, juicy, citrus, and bitter. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, jhamp9 (1860) - Corinth, Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Draft. Clear orange pour with a nice off white head and good lacing. Aroma is candy citrus, pine, and toffee. Taste follows the nose. A little on the sweet side, but serviceable. Light medium body. Easy drinking. Cavie (4718) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Can. Semi hazy Amber orange color. Tall white head. Hoppy leafy aroma. Some fresh notes but not as much as expecting. Just checked and the can was labeled 8-7-16. 2 months old so probably lost most of it. This can was sitting on the Total Wine shelves, with a store label marked 10/4/16. That sucks. Flavor is dull. Not bright hoppy flavor but kind of a dried leaf note. Bitter finish. No knock on the brewery, distributors suck. I will re-rate again fresh at the taproom.

Way to much foam to drink from can.. when poured into glass get one inch of beer and 11 inches of foam.. takes 10 mins to get foam to settle down enough to drink..was drinkable but to much time is needed to get it settled down to drink .. this beer should be recalled wasted 9 bucks kevinator (2205) - The Colony, Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2015
Great herbal and citrus aroma. Light copper color with a good head. Medium body and crisp. Strong flavor with tropical bitterness and a mild sweetness. Pleasant beer. Deftkev (1) - Texas, USA - DEC 8, 2015 does not count
Great aroma, nice and hoppy on the front end, but this finish is a little dull but clean. Good solid beer.
