Clear light amber and copper coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pure resinous and floral hops with some light citrus, a touch of sugar and some pine as well - nice and fragrant. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent hop flavour at first that dies relatively quickly and shows some resin, white grapes, pine and mostly floral elements and almost no malt at all. Aftertaste shows some grain, pine, earth, pineapple and kick of grass at the tail end. Overall, a pretty mellow beer that shows a lot of nice aromas, but develops nothing in the flavour at all near the end - interesting to try, but not really worth trying, unless you like fresh hopped APA style beers with no depth nor complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Spec’s Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$2,62 sampled at home in Washington on 23-November-2015.

(draught) caramel colored, creamy dark tan head. Nose of caramel, cream, honey, hops are quite muted honestly. Taste of light hop acids, honey, biscuit, cream. Medium to thick body, light hop linger. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - SEP 11, 2012
On tap at The Common Table during the launch party.
The beer pours a reddish-brown color with an off-white head. The aroma is full of toffee and alcohol, with a hint of grassy hops. The flavor is more of the same. I get some nice toffee and caramel notes, as well as some butter, orange and grass. Overall, the fresh hops are not as prevalent as I hoped they would be. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. mar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Deep amber pour with a cream head. Nose is fresh hops, rich caramel, sticky, and dank. Very smooth on the palate, dough, caramel, gritty hops, and a nice finish. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Can. Big pillow off antique white head. Has a slight haze. Is golden in color. The smell is fruit, resin, pine, slight styrofoam, orange, decent but not spectacular. The taste is similar to the smell with a medium bitterness and more pine notes. I expected more and better. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Foggy amber with an off-white tint from all the hop resin. The.aroma is floral and resinous. The backbone is heavily malted. There’s a light syrup texture to the palate. The finish is decisively bitter. Its a little spicy and has a papery bite. Probably strong but you wouldn’t know it.
