3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy golden orange with a nice white head. The lemon and ginger are definitely there in the aroma along with more citrus and sweet maltiness. Taste is very similar but a bit perfumy. Very good overall.
Had this at a brewery tour: Pours a nice amber color with white head. Ginger and lemon citrus very present on the palate, with pine and other citrus notes; all follow onto the palate, the lemon really comes through nicely . Finishes pretty clean. Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Cask at the 1st anniversary party.
Cloudy orange pour, slight head. Nose is big time lemon, citrus, and a good amount of malt. The lemon and ginger play off each other nicely and compliment an already great IPA. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2012
On cask at the Deep Ellum First Anniversary Party.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the lemons with some orange notes also thrown in. There is a bit of biscuit malt in the aroma as well. The flavor is what I expected. There is a lot of lemon and orange from the hops, as well as a good bit of ginger. The low bitterness is complimented nicely by the juicy orange and lemon notes, as well as the slightly spicy ginger. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 17, 2012
(Cask) cloudy orange, soapy offwhite bubbles. Nose of candied citrus, funk, lemon peel, juicy citrus fruit, malt backbone balanced perfectly, brown sugar, smells great. Taste of citrus peel, light bitterness, biscuit, low carbonation.

On cask at the Draught House for Austin Beer Week. Beautiful thick and cloudy tangerine color. Very cloudy. Sticky white head. Floral hop nose. Mellow on the palate. Great citrus and bitter flavor. The lemon comes out bitterly and adds some tartness on the finish. The ginger adds some bite on the finish as well.
