UPDATED: APR 5, 2014 Pours a hazy golden brown from the can with think off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of pine and sweet fruity hops with a big malty oxidized back end. Taste follows, less of the fruitiness and more of the pine. Tastes old even though it was only canned less than a month ago. Not bad, but I have had much better IPAs. revolution2718 (379) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Pours moderately hazy amber. Nose is floral hop, grapefruit, something herbal. Taste matches nose, adds some lemon, not malty or overly sweet, almost no bitterness on the finish, it's front loaded instead. Very easy drinking.

Shared at the January 2014 tasting in Santa Cruz. Musty pine aroma. Herbal and grapefruit flavor, dense hops and a more English malt character with toffee and iced tea. ttutony (920) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 13, 2014
Pleasant citrus and floral hop aroma and flavors with an appropriately balanced malt bill. Nice beer, glad to see some good craft beer coming out of the Dallas area Bgrose (1) - - FEB 25, 2014 does not count

Tap at anvil pub in deep ellum
pours bright orange with lite haze and a small soapy white head. Nose is floral honeysuckle lots of citrus very sweet and flowery. Flavors of sweet citrus crisp malt lots of grapefruit and tangerine. Very citric forward. Not much malt to speak of here just lite pale grains. Lingering grapefruit on the finish. Pretty straight forward but tasty! The beer is burnt orange and clear with an inch of dense, off-white head. The aroma brings pine, hops, some grapefruit, citrus rind. The usual suspects. Hop bitterness throughout. Lingering spice and pine notes. Hop forward but balanced with spicy grains. Solid. 3sheets2wind (78) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2014 Definitely piney in aroma and taste. Sharp bitter hops and strong resin in the after-taste. Malt is subdued. Lots of floaties in the pour. Decent head retention and lacing. Strong offering from Deep Ellum. DrunkSanta410 (940) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 28, 2014

UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 PREVIOUS RATING Can. Pours orange with a nice cream head but marred by tons of floaties. On the citrus end of the IPA spectrum. Pretty tasty if you don’t look at it.
Now that I live in Texas this is the ubiquitous craft beer in most restaurants and I rather like it. Have not seen the "floaties" since, and it is a very solid drinker that never disappoints.
