COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our year round ode to the Pacific Northwest hop. At DEBC, we like hops, but we like American hops most of all. Here we use some of our absolute favorites. However, they might not be used like you may expect, by using varieties with high alpha acid contents (which means more potential for bitterness) and using them in ways to emphasize the flavor and aroma we can render a rather bitter ale with over the top tropical fruit, citrus, pine, floral, and more hop derived aroma and flavor. Style: American-style India Pale Ale Hops: Citra, Amarillo, Chinook, Palisade, and Summit Malts: Pale Ale, Vienna, Honey, and White Wheat Yeast: English Ale

Draft at ozonas grill and bar in Texas. Didn’t impress me much but wasn’t bad. Wished for just a little more hoppynes since it is an ipa and more foam. OK with food tho because of the mildness of it, should go with almost any food. Skål!

Stuck in the airport. After everything in San Diego this is obvious Texas beer. Balanced malty. Lemon and ends with a hop bite. Not bad. But not west coast. Creamy with some corn grain notes. Nose citrus lemon. Thick head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Ginger Man Austin TX. Can you go wrong with an IPA in Austin? I don’t think so. Clear copper with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, a little earth. Taste is bitter citrusy hops, not much malt. Still good, I’m not afraid of a little hops.

Hazy and very crisp copper body with an amber glow and a thick three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grass, citrus, resin and some light pine - notes of hop pellets as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Nice sweet citrus and grassy hoppiness with some grapefruit, hay and a large herbal element, all with some smooth malt that shows well. Aftertaste shows a little grass, a lot of sweetness, some hay, light cereal malt and a smooth fruit sweetness - noticeable pear and apple flavours - nice! Overall, a good IPA with a nice balance of malt and some smooth fruity and grassy flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Spec’s Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$2,62 sampled at home in Washington on 30-April-2016 when it was pretty noticeable that the can was about to explode!

On tap in the Dallas airport on the way home from NY. Pretty good, straightahead IPA. Made for a good layover.

Can poured into stemmed beer glass Deep golden bordering on orange with an off white/yellow head that is quite dense. The pine scent is heavy with some spice. The taste is creamy with the huge head that has solid retention. Loads of bittering hops in this. Pine mostly. Solid IPA. True NW style.

Pours clear amber with average white head, that disappears quickly. Aroma: swwet, fruity and a hint of hops. Taste is good bitter backbone with fruity undertones, especially orange peel. Bitterness is long lasting but not aggressive. Overall: ome of my IPA favorites, buy it regularly whenever it is available.
