3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark urine with a lively head, and I mean that in a good way. I would paint my walls this color. The aroma is so aromatic, I think my wife would actually be fine with me smelling "like a brewery." Very citrus/grapefruit taste but I hate saying that because I hate grapefruit…which you can blame on the late 70’s/early 80’s grapefruit diet fad. Anyway, I say it in a GOOD way…smells and tastes super fresh. I really like this, and disappointed that I missed the release of their IIPA, Dream Crusher, by 2 days. I did get a coozie at least! Anyway, this is a good beer. I am adding it to my list of "must get" when in the neighboring state of Texas (along with St. Arnold).
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2017 Very crisp citrus taste on top of bitter hops. Drinkable but not the best IPA. JohananaV2 (278) - Hurst, Texas, USA - AUG 1, 2017
This was another one of the earlier craft beers that I've tried when Deep Ellum first came out it's just been a consistent the good tasting IPA perfection in a nice cold mug at any time of the year just a solid good beer

Draft at BJs Lewisville following Bobbie’s visitation. Overall a tasty IPA with a moderate amount of bitterness. Easy drinking and enjoyable. coachd (888) - Missouri, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Good not great IPA. Would appeal to non hop heads, but is very drinkable. Refreshing, easy to get in TX, good choice when there aren't a lot of micros available

Draught @ cheesecake factory Forth Worth. Light amber clear color. Aroma of citrus, grape, fruit, light caramel. Light to medium body with a light dry texture. Medium bitterness with some counter sweetness. Light lingering bitter finish.

It's missing the west coast citrus, but has the big bitter finish. Drinking in secret Hilton lounge with PpG group in Arlington, TX. 2017. It's acceptable. Enough said.

This is probably one of my favorite iPAs. The taste is very forward but not offensive. I will definitely drink this one again.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom’s place. Thanks Ori S. Clear amber with a white film. Citrus, a little malt and some melon aroma, bitter, light melon and citrus taste - rather crisp. Fizzy, medium body, long, mild hoppy and bitter finish.
