3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not my particular favorite variety of hops chosen in this beer but this is definitely an improvement over the example I tasted early last summer. Combination of hops can kind of give off am unpleasant aroma to some. But overall a good local IPA.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2017 Nice amber ipa with white lingering head. Hoppy without being overpowering
Clean palate and alcohol presence not imposing. Decent. Andrew196 (2040) - Katy, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2017
For some reason I feel like the can design and coloring matches the appearance of the beer well. Pours a rich golden amber. Light beige head, coarse with splotchy lace. The citra does very well on the nose, balances nicely with a hearty breadiness. Nice creamy feel. Very well balanced, refreshing and easy to drink. Great hop, citrus bitterness. Overall great! pele1138 (1) - - OCT 7, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2017 Hooter’s West End DALLAS. Crisp citrus taste with just right bitterness from the hops. Dark amber color with medium head. Nice abv , not too high so you can drink through the game zaclogan (19) - - SEP 25, 2017
Deep Ellum is a good representation of an American style IPA with nice tropical fruit, citrus, pine and floral hop derived aroma and flavors. Nice job and worth having again.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2017 Very crisp citrus taste on top of bitter hops. Drinkable but not the best IPA. JohananaV2 (278) - Hurst, Texas, USA - AUG 1, 2017
This was another one of the earlier craft beers that I've tried when Deep Ellum first came out it's just been a consistent the good tasting IPA perfection in a nice cold mug at any time of the year just a solid good beer

Draft at BJs Lewisville following Bobbie’s visitation. Overall a tasty IPA with a moderate amount of bitterness. Easy drinking and enjoyable. coachd (972) - Missouri, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Good not great IPA. Would appeal to non hop heads, but is very drinkable. Refreshing, easy to get in TX, good choice when there aren't a lot of micros available
