I enjoyed this for the first time on draft at Twisted Root in The Shops at Legacy last weekend. This brew is a West Coast styled IPA and has quickly become one of my favorite IPAs. It has a really nice balance between the hops, which are definitely present...for those hopheads, and the malt backbone. My recommendation to all is: when you see this at your favorite Watering Hole don't hesitate to give it a try; you won't be disappointed!

Exactly what I'm after in an American IPA - on tap at a dallas restaurant. Bright copper color, thick head and nice, sticky lacing. Complex layered flavors, with a crispness all around.

Nice thick and foamy head
The nose is citrusy and floral at the same time. Slightly tingly on the nose.
The taste is crisp and flavorful but lighter than expected. Bitter flavor follows the nose but with a biscuit flavor. It is full but crisp with a light Carbonation. This is a very sold easy drinking IPA from the Dallas Area.

This has been my go to IPA for a while now. Beautiful color, great hoppy aroma and an all around great beer!!

This is a great IPA in a can! Partly cloudy with a chance of cat piss! Bitterness is just right and well balanced.

Pours a hazy honey amber with a fairly thick, pale golden tan, fine-bubbled head. Strong aroma is quite hoppy with a fruity undertone that is equal parts citrus and apple/pear and has more than a hint of hay. Flavor is muy hoppy, evergreen and woody, somewhat bitter, subtly citrus and pomme fruity. Firm texture is fairly fizzy and leaves a hoppy, fruity finish. Never mind oil - strike this! Faint hoppy aroma. Starts with hoppy light leaf then comes the malts and sugars. Some citrus on the finish SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - SEP 22, 2015
Pours burnt orange with a medium off-white head. Smells of piney hops with hints of citrusy and spicy hops. Taste is bitter, piney, juicy. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Deep Ellum IPA finishes with a lingering bitterness.
