Light golden color out of the can with a short white head. Spicy nose with some rye and orange peels notes. This is a full flavored beer with some rye bread, spice, and a strong hoppy presence. Long bitter finish with orange peel and yeast. Nice take on a pilsner. kevinator (2176) - The Colony, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Really enjoyed this. It showed what a pilsner could taste like. Nice hoppy aroma with some pine and herbal essences. Clear golden color that was in line with the style and a big foamy head. Crisp and clean palate with a slight bittering feel. Strong carbonation. Nice light blend of flavors but not shallow. Pale malt backbone with a touch of spiciness from the rye and finishing with a good bitterness that wasn’t too harsh. Well done. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 3, 2014
Cloudy golden to light brown body, frothy grey head, looking very tasty. Moderate yet modern aroma with orange and grassy hops, light malts, crisp yeast. Medium bitter, juicy yet clean tasting, light prickly carbonation. Yeah, not much complaints here. Perhaps served a bit cold but still tasty and straightforward as a good pils can be. Quality stuff. Rated at BTBF 2012 (Backlog). Hazy golden appearance with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is of rye, butter, bread and malt. Taste is of rye and sweet malts. Cavie (4652) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Can. Aroma was rye notes, dry, grainy with a touch of grassy notes. Flavor was easy with a big rye component. Bitter on the finish.

Hazy golden colour with a small white head.
Mild fruity hops and malt in the aroma.
The flavour is much more bitter with grassy hops, mild rye smoothness and malt. Drinkable.
Sharp crisp bitter rye flavor. Smells good too. Down the old hatch quite quickly. Nice beer and very drinkable. dlihcsnatas (738) - Temple, Texas, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Slightly hazy gold brew with little head that dies out quickly. Aroma suggest there is rye in it with some weeds from the yard. Taste is Rye and not bad. Being a pils I was expecting less but this one is pretty good. Had to deduct a point on my overall due to not going with the Texas lager limit of 5% abv. I know its only .4 off but still... deyholla (11486) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly and laces. Aroma has a crisp lager yeast with supporting rye and a nice grass backing. Flavor starts with rye and grass and has a nice crispness in the finish.
