Pine, citrus and yeast aroma. Cloudy honey colored with light white head that fades quickly leaving moderate lacing. Pine and citrus bitterness with an herbal sweetness. Interesting combination. Medium bodied.

Pours a deep golden color with a small lacy white head. Notes of fresh baked bread, orange citrus, toasted grains, and karo syrup. Nice balance and medium length finish.

Tried this beer on tap at Twin Peaks in Addison, TX. Light citrus aroma, even lighter on taste not picking up the rye used in this pils, simple not very complex. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy copper body with a thin white head. Aroma of roasted rye, caramel, mustiness, and mold. Flavor of rye, rotten citrus, and minerals with a watered down mouthfeel and yet with a metallic, bitter finish nonetheless.

Tap at Black Star coop Austin, TX June 2012-pours clear yellow with a small soapy white head and sparse lacing. looks decent! spicy rye nose you can definately smell the rye, something that you dont smell in most pils. flavors of rye malt dry/cracker-like notes, spicy hops, leafy green hops-very dry from the rye malt and hop mix. very nice and clean well balanced unique twist on the pilsener. Drew is really picking up some speed with his brewing practice. keep it up man-it has been awesome seing you come up in the ranks.

Pint glass at Da House- served a transparent yellow with just a shade of orange, medium carbonation, one finger white head did lace very nicely. Aroma of a traditional pilz- some grain, some saaz hops, and some love. Hits the mouth with a light medium body, malt is firm yet light and fluffy, holds up well in the middle, finish is crisp and clean. Fantastic hot ass brew!
