Draught. Soft pilsner malt nose. Some mild spice. Clear gold with nice head retention. Full bodied with a very nice malt character. Spicy rye and sweet grassy 2row. Subdued hops. Finishes dry with a lingering malty astringency. SudsMcDuff (8523) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2012

Tap @ Common Table, Dallas. Deep golden color with a bubbly white head. The nose is quite neutral, some wood and light grains. The taste is light honey and apricot fruit, sweet cereal and some maple syrup. Rainwater. Quite crisp and refreshing, easy to drink. Soft. Overall, quite good. Smooth, crisp taste. Light after taste. Good summer drink. I could see me drinking this in the summer.

On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a medium frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is wheat and rye. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter malt and rye flavor. Easy to drink a good Pilsener from Deep Ellum.

On tap at a bunch of different places. Many ounces consumed. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas are spicy, herbal, nice noble hop character (seems kind of like tettanger if I had to guess). Nice bready malt profile. Very clean yeast wise. Flavors are herbal, spicy hops, bready and full malt profile with a bitter and dry finish. Very clean and crisp. Dry and clean with medium carbonation and a somewhat thin body. Lasting bitterness. jhamp9 (1991) - Corinth, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2012

On tap at the Big Texas Beer Fest. vyvvy (6778) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 16, 2012
The beer pours a golden color with a large white head. The aroma is fairly spicy with some nice rye and biscuit malt notes. The flavor is also very enjoyable. There is quite a bit of rye and some orange citrus, as well as some lighter pilsner malts and additional spice notes. Very easy to drink, with a light mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
Sampled at Schlafly 2012 Repeal Fest.... multiple times. A standout of the fest for me. Pours pale hazy yellow with a small white head. the aroma has pils malt, light spicy hops and some spicy rye. Light crisp body with sharpish carbonation. The flavor starts with pils malt that is clean as you would expect, but then the rye comes in an really dries the beer out. It adds its bit of spice along with the hops that have spicy, grassy and sulfur traits. Very dry finish. Really liked this one a lot. phaleslu (10750) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 16, 2012
Draft sample at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition Festival, 2012. Pours a clear golden color with just a little bit of reddish coloring and a finger of eggshell white head. Thanks for the big pour, Keir. Spicy aroma, with rye, pepper, and herbs, along with dry grains, sugar, and sweet and pale malts. Flavor of rye, pale and sweet malts, crackers, spicy hops, and grass. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Really nice.
