Rye comes through strong in aroma. Poured a dark yellow, kind of urine-colored. A little hops up front that fades into a strong rye flavor. A different kind of pilsener. The rye flavor overwhelms all else but this is not a bad thing. Could drink a couple of these and then move on to something else.

Pours gold with a bright white head. Aroma of apples, bread. Decent bitter graininess to it with a hopped edge throughout, not bad.

On tap at Craft Pride, Austin, TX, 27.4.16. Clear gold. Spicy, honey, a hint of malt in the nose. Tasteless at first, then honey, a little bit of bread and bitterness. Medium body, fizzy, quite tasteless.

Pale and semi-hazy. Thick white head. Lemongrass, orange, and floral aromas. Medium sourness and light bitterness. Muted citrus flavors. Light mouthfeel. Boring overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the source. Clear deep yellow. White head. Aroma is pilsner malt, light citrus. Not much rye. Flavor is pilsner with a mild mild rye complexity added. Fairly hoppy and citrusy pilsner. But a pils nonetheless.

Cloudy dark yellow with a white head. Very little aroma. I can conjure up some spicy hops and light malt. The flavor is light and clean with just a bit of tang from the rye. Great hot weather cooler. Thanks crajun for the trade!

Pours a nice orange color with white head. Spice, floral notes, and some toasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Very flavorful for a pilsener and for one that is under 5%.

Light golden color out of the can with a short white head. Spicy nose with some rye and orange peels notes. This is a full flavored beer with some rye bread, spice, and a strong hoppy presence. Long bitter finish with orange peel and yeast. Nice take on a pilsner.

Really enjoyed this. It showed what a pilsner could taste like. Nice hoppy aroma with some pine and herbal essences. Clear golden color that was in line with the style and a big foamy head. Crisp and clean palate with a slight bittering feel. Strong carbonation. Nice light blend of flavors but not shallow. Pale malt backbone with a touch of spiciness from the rye and finishing with a good bitterness that wasnt too harsh. Well done.
