[3229-20100801] Cask. Thick burnt roast malt aroma with some hints of bandaid. Black body with a long-lasting foamy tan head. Watery coffee grounds flavour is almost gritty with a mild bitter aftertaste. Medium-full body. Drinkable.

Cask (handpump) @ Cloisters, 26 Brougham St, Edinburgh, Scotland EH3 9JH.
Clear dark black brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate sweet. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy and smooth, carbonation is soft.
Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Peterborough BF 2010. A black beer with a lovely bubbly beige head. The aroma is roasty and smoky. Very bitter in the mouth with roasty flavours and a milky texture. A good body and a nice beer. jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 16, 2010
2010-08-01. Black body with a small foamy beige head. 3+ Dusty roast in the aroma with mocha accents. 6+ Flavour is milder than expected, mild sweet malt base but the dry roasty bitterness grows exponentially towards the finish, leaving a dry roasty character to linger in the finish and aftertaste. 6+ Smooth average palate is pretty good for a cask but thin for the beer itself. Pretty good but the roast character is not entirely to my tastes. Cask at Market Porter, London evergreen0199 (3492) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2010
Cask at Market Porter, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head. Roasty aroma. Tastes malty, roasty, creamy, rather thin. Not my cup of tea.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Black, lasting thin tan head. Lovely thick choc, roasted malt aroma, almost impy stout like. Touch of smoke I thought. Really good stout. Bit of powder, lovely stout. Touch of lactic flavour on swallow. Good stout. Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 10, 2010
UPDATED: APR 13, 2010 Cask @ 3 Judges. Black colour, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and oats, hint of glue. Flavour of roasted malts, fruity, chocolate. Medium bodied. This is good stuff.
Again cask @ 3 Judges. Long smooth roastiness. Very sessionable. One of the best drinkable porters I’ve had. +.4 leaparsons (10765) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2010

OK Craig. Here it is. You are no longer alone in the world of ratings of Deeside beers. Huge thanks for taking me Cloisters to try this. Thanks! Nice grainy flavor, like chewing on roasted barley. A bit of roastiness that blends in well some barley sweetness. Good and easy to drink.
