Bottle. Blak pour with some tan lacing. Dark fruit and some sweetness in aroma, hints of spice tones. Flavor doesn’t follow, some cardboard malt and hints of fruit and spice. Too much age? hivemind (919) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 26, 2011
Bottle from Rockland Beverage split with Tommy on Christmas. Pours a deep reddish brown with a light caramel hue and small to medium beige head. Aroma is immediate red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar, with some spicy notes. Smells nice. Palate is a mix of spice, vegetable, dried fruit and malt. Earthy character to it. I wish it were a little more balanced or carbonated. Medium to heavy mouthfeel. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - FEB 18, 2011
