Good solid beer. Nice amber color. Taste slightly sweet and goes down easy with just a touch of a hoppy aftertaste. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 31, 2002
Light amber with some transparent flakes. Barely a white edge head. Trickle of carbonation. Decent Marzen aroma of toasted Munich malts and German hops. Very fresh smelling, but light. Crisp and bracing. Munich malts right from the start with a toasty sweet aftertaste. Gentle German hop bitterness and floral spiciness. Average body. Easy drinking and smooth and clean. Finishes toastier, a bit sweeter and faintly fruity. An OK version, but predictable. hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - NOV 19, 2001
By the time we got to the Baltimore Brewing Co I only had room for one more beer (hell of a night, Baltimore offers)and I chose this one. Big butter action right up front - enough for me to remember despite the exuberance of the evening as that was my main morning after taste. fishman (350) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 7, 2001
Stinks like a loaf of white bread. Orangy to amber, with a rocky head. Smooth almost lemony taste, not bad but seems like its missing something. Delbomber (387) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 5, 2001
Slightly dull, golden amber color with a buttery, yeasty aroma. The taste follows suit, exhibiting buttery and yeasty flavors. Vaguely sweet and smooth, quite drinkable for one of my least favorite styles.

Amber color, but lightish. Smooth
but lightish body. Sweetish aroma with
a little caramel hint. Flavor is slightly
toffeish and caramel - but understated.
Has all the hints of a great marzen but at
slight quantities. Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 29, 2000
amber colour, orange aroma, unpleasant sourness.............................
