Sourdough yeast aroma with a light head. Golden color. Rich malty flavor with a bit of a twang. Hoppy undertones and zestiness. This is a decent brew. Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2004
Bottle (thanks to slob) Clear gold pour with almost no head. Nice malty, biscuit aroma. Taste is slightly malty with a crisp bitterness. Light bodied and dry. I think this is my first beer from these guys. jimhilt (2621) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 10, 2004
Pours with a one-finger white head that leaves a good lace. Clear pale amber color. Light bodied and light carbonation. Slightly hoppy nose. Starts hoppy and the finish is clean, dry and slightly hoppy. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. $1.65 for a 12oz. bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma. fly (1486) - austin, Tejas, Texas, USA - MAY 3, 2004
Really enjoyed this. And after the other beers I had there on that night I wish I had stuck to it. Very nicely hopped - crispy and clean. Very enjoyable. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2004 Golden hued appearance with a fruity, sweet malt aroma. Well carbonated, medium-bodied mouthfeel with a refreshing, aggressively hopped flavor. Finished dry and slightly sweet. A pleasant, not overly complex, offering that meets all the requirements for an everyday beer.

fluffy white head but this color is light as hell. has a unexpected hop bite. very surprising. this is a tasty beer, slight hop/malty aroma with a yeast undertone JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 14, 2004
Cloudy light golden color with a diminished white head. Pale malt and grassy aromas. Very crisp and dry. Reminds me of many a eastern european lager/pils. Heavy malt followed by a rough and tumble hops to reel in the sweetness. unclebleen (620) - California, USA - APR 7, 2004
Pours a pale gold color with a small off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma is of a wheat beer; bread and saaz hops. Flavor is hops through and through but is balanced quite nicely. Very dry finish. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 19, 2004
A session beer. Golden with a nice white fluffy head. Good saaz hop bitterness, balanced by a good amount of sweet grainy malt. Lots of bready notes with a sharp citric fruit shot. Crisp clean finish. Another good one from this underated brewery. Yankovitch333 (612) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 9, 2004
Poured a nice gold with a thick white head. Aroma was mildly hopped, with hints of citrus fruits and grain. Nice hop flavor, with a crisp bitter hop finish. For a pilsener of this style it was good. Really good.
