200cl PET from Prisma, Tallinn. Pours clear dark brown without much head to speak of. Sweet and bready with dried fruits and hints of dark sour berries. Sweet, but some acidity to balance. Fairly easy to drink and quite enjoyable. zvikar (6263) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - OCT 29, 2016
Brown, no head, aroma of of cola, licorice, bread, sourish flavor, bread, rye, licorice, cinnamon, medium bodied. DSG (15035) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 8, 2015
Plastic bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Stas. Amber-brown. Aroma of caramel, rye bread, a citric note. Sweetish-sourish flavor with caramel, citrus, some bread, rather dry for a kvass. Quite OK for a kvass. FatPhil (16635) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 8, 2014

Slightly dirty savoury aroma, some sharpness of carbon dioxide, and a little bit dishwatery. Dark, but fizzy. Pleasant malty body, lemony sharpness, other acidic bite too. Thinish watery palate. Carbonation affects the taste too. Never had a kvass okroshka, and never had an okroshka kvass either. To be honest, I’m more a sucker for the sweetness when there’s a level of carbonation like this. It’s lacking the raisons too, and other things I like. Drinkable, and not bad, but not good either. Will be good for rehydration after doing some gardening, I’m sure.
2l plastic bottle. Clearish dark brown color. Nice fizzy tan head appears. Bready, peach, slight roast in aroma. Bready, somewhat sour, slight caramel in flavor. Quite pleasant to drink.
