transferred rating. Brewed seemingly more to approximate mass market mexican lagers than to offer something new. The corn sweetness and light body are there. Ably crisp at the end. ronaldtheriot (1965) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Del Norte Cinco has a thin, stark-white head and a very hazy, lemon-yellow appearance, with lots of relatively large gray chunks floating throughout. Some lacing is evident. The aroma is of the typical Mexican style, meaning pungent, sweet grain. Taste is of lemons, for whatever reason, with sweet grain and an overall light beer wateriness. Mouthfeel is as expected, light and watery, and Del Norte Cinco finishes crisp, refreshing, highly drinkable, and mostly dry. For a light beer, it’s a sure winner, and for beer overall it’s not bad. I think it’s worth checking out. RJT Tmoney99 (14773) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with fizzy white head that mostly diminished with minimal lacing. Moderate sweet grain aroma. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of shorte duration. Light body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Worth having once. Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2012
So you bought a Mexican style lager, what did you expect? Taste is water, corn, hay and grain. Average in every respect. bhensonb (15515) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle from Half Time. Who touts their beer as having "corn sweetness"? Pours dishwater gold with a slight white head. Corn aroma. Med minus body. There’s a strange, but definite bitter, but there’s this not so great sweet aspect. Finish is sweetish with herbal hop. Very different.

Bottle. Pours straw yellow with fizzy white head. Not much aroma to speak of and flavor is that of an every day adjunct lager with very balanced hop. Wouldn’t be a bad beer to have by the pool. Not offensive in anyway, it is what it is. fiveacestx (971) - Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Bottle - piss yellow in color, very little head and a slight corn aroma. Has a slight metallic taste to it and a water thin body. SudsMcDuff (8463) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2011
