draft at Park Burger. clear light caramel body with a white head. average retention. moderately doughy nose of being lagered, though it’s still fairly clean and has a pale and vienna malt toastiness and ample firmness. hops are muted in the nose but provide balanced bitterness for the toasty and honey-accented malt. rigid carbonation and body with good acid make it enjoyable to throw down in gulps. Pour on tap at Old Chicago, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of grain, cereal, hints of hay, touch of biscuit and spice. Taste is a mix of slight grainy biscuit, slight grass and spice, very slight cereal finishing fairly dry. Eh, not much going on here.
