The obvious comparison here isn’t with Pacifico or Corona, but Manana. A slightly sweeter version and a little less impressive. cubs (10636) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburs Fort Collins. Plucked this retired whale dong from the old beer section. Fuck yeah. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a small white head. Huge DMS, butter, lemon, bullshit aroma. Tangy lemon, slightly tart, watery, fuck you flavor. WHAT THE FUCK. Every malt liquor I’ve had tonight (and I’ve had quite a few, bra) has been better than this bullshit. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Light straw color with fizzy head that has moderate retention. Strong aroma of corn dominates. Corn and sweet grain taste with very little hops. Thin mouthfeel. Highly carbonated. Not very good at all.

Bottle. Yellow in color, decent head. Smells like hay. Taste very watery. Just not very good. ronaldtheriot (1936) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 16, 2012
Del Norte Orale has a thin-to-medium, white head and a hazy, straw appearance, with some bubbles and minimum lacing. The aroma is faint, but one can detect sweet, sugary, lightly-roasted grains and a hint of lemon. Flavor is of lemony, sweet grain, white bread, and some hop bitterness in the back taste. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Del Norte Orale finishes crisp, refreshing, and mostly dry. It’s a simple, yet enjoyable beer. RJT

Pour on tap at Art and Ale, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grain and husky notes, some wet grain as well, hints of oats, slight spice notes. Taste is a mix of sweet corn and wet grain, some slight grass and biscuit, finishing fairly watery, highly carbonated. Not much good going on here. Single from D&Q .. . 12 ounce bottle .. yellow gold .. medium headring .. . light bitterness .. light muddled grains and dry hay .. . not defined and kinda weak .. . . say ’beer can’ in an English accent.. sounds like ’bacon in a Jamaican accent.. nearbeer (5424) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 6, 2012
12 oz. Pale gold with a small ring of creamy bubbles. Aroma is light dry grass and husky caramelized grain. Taste is the same, but leans a nit more to the dry grassy hop, which is nice. Also some metallic notes show up later. Light-medium body is soft, but tingly, and has a delicate balance. Pretty decent if you must indulge in the pale lager style, but I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be much better ales wherever this beer is sold. Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Actually not bad, really. Clear yellow, spongy white head. Some corn, some grass. Crisp palate. Better than it needs to be. bhensonb (15235) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle from Half Time. Pours light gold with very little white head. Light grain/malt aroma with very light grassy hop. Med minu body. It’s not watery, but... Flavor is definitely sweet corn with a very little grassy bitter. More pleasant than the Cinco.
