Clear straw with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, herbal hoppy, and faint grassy. Taste is medium sweet up top, mid body turns solid bitter -- mostly herbal with a touch of grassy. Yummy! Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 10, 2005
Clear light straw pour with a tall not-so-dense white head. Very nice lacing as this one went down. Floral/herbal hops and pilsener malt were crisp and sufficiently potent in both the aroma and flavor. Very clean mouthfeel... very well-balanced and tasty brew! Straw color with a fluffy white head. Light noble hops nose with a hint of DMS. A rather clean german pils. Dry and quenching. Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 30, 2009
Sampled during Great Taste of Midwest 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden yellow brew with a short lived off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops and golden grain malt with a hint of corn. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of grassy hops and a touch of honey and golden grain malt. Finish has a sharp bitterness then a crisp aftertaste. badgerben (5372) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2005
Clear gold color with a medium head. Interesting aroma that reminded me of honey. Dusty hops flavor with a light malt base. Wow... simple, yet tasty. One of the best made pilseners by a brew pub, hands down!

Pint at the brewpub. Big fluffy snow-white head with good retention topping a light clear gold body...fresh, mild grassy nose with light hints of acerbic hops...sweet, malty, bready initial flavor profile, reminds me of Portugese sweet bread...dries and thins out quite a bit late with a smattering of iron. savnac (2656) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - NOV 15, 2011
On tap @ Delafield. Clear golden yellow with a pure white head. Aroma of bready malt, hay, citrus and fresh cut grass. Flavor is a great balance of bready/toasty pils malt and bitter citrus hops. Light body with active carbonation and a very smooth, clean, refreshing finish. I really like this beer, kind of a hybrid of the style but it works so well and is extremely drinkable. Sampler; Yellow body with white head. Corn aroma and flavor gives you the bitter beer face. Typical pils. arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Pale gold. Tangy noble/citrus hopping and light sweet malts. Pale lager malts followed by even, refreshing citrus hopping. Crisp, lightly acidic, light on the palate. Easy to drink. An overall success for the style. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 13, 2009
My first one at the brewery in Delafield. Poured a clear golden with a medium sized white head. One thing that stood out which I later discussed with the brewer, was that it was noticeably hoppy for a pils- which I enjoyed of course. It just made it an interesting twist on an otherwise boring style (in my opinion). Some soft grapefruit and ginger notes underlying the beer. Aroma was classic grain, but again hops on the nose. Nice beer!
