500ml bottle. Hazed dull gold (migh tbe the light) pour, foamy head. Aroma is melon, citrus, and pine, some herbs too. Flavor is hearty grain, pleasant herbal hops. A good old-school pale ale.

On tap at the source. Decent. Malt-led, but some pine involved. More a pale than a blonde. 11.9

On tap at brewpub, pours a hazy orange with a thick white head, the aroma has quite a bit of tropical fruit and citrus, the flavor is much of the same with a nice hoppy front end and a fruit like finish, more like an apa than a golden ale but what do I know.

Cloudy dark orange amber. Medium creamy white head, fairly lasting with excellent lacing. Medium body. Slick and maybe oily sort of. Moderate to high dry earthy bitterness. Grapefruit. Pale malt. Noble hop. Sweetness comes through enough. Not too aromatic. Brewhouse describes it as a pale ale. Its so traditional like, so un modern and against the trend that its actually sort of new and refreshing in a way.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy yellow-tinged amber color. Nice enticing citric aroma. Drinks with a knife-edge, sharp acidity which is quite appetizing. Bit on the lighter side body-wise, but a pleasant drinker for the hop heads and best I tried here. (#5093, 7/2/2013)
