On tap at the brewpub, pours a very dark brown with a red hue coming through and a thin head, the aroma is of light malt with a touch of chocolate, the flavor is light with a chocolate finish mixed in with the roasty malt, hmmmm, pretty good.

Black/amber color with creamy head. Coffee aroma. Some patent/chocolate/crystal malts. Mild hop/bitter finish.

Druaght at the pub. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown with some reddish hues. Persistent, soapy, light tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty leading up to a very sweet flavor that also boasts a significant roasyt character. There is a caramely genericness to the malt profile that is a bit off-putting (extract?)

Full bodied? No. A nice chocolate light roasted porter with a light body. Easy to drink and well blended.

phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 13, 2009
Sampled on draught at the Brewhaus. Poured a dark mahogany colour. Decent sized head. Toasty with some noticeable bourbon notes. Creamy and super smooth, not too rich but very filling.

notalush (5895) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2009
Looks pretty good - dark brown, with a soapy tan head - medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel - semi-sweet vanilla and roasted malt give way to a smoky, slightly ashy finish - the ashy character gets really strong as it warms, and kind of takes over the beer - meh.

grimreeser (797) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2008
Sampler at brewpub. Dark brown, nice lacing. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Nice balanced flavor, palate is a little thin.

3.6
esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Brown with medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, sweet malts and chocolate. Taste is more of the same a little dry, decent but not out of this world porter.

3.2
Petrucci914 (910) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - APR 29, 2008
Pours a medium brown color with a medium mocha head that leaves sticky lacing. Aroma is slight......dark malts, with a touch of chocolate and coffee. Taste is about the same. Very easy drinking but nothing that sets it apart or defines the style in any special way.
