Typical looks for the style, fairly frothy head, reddish brown body. Less dry that the classic examples though, slightly more malty, cookie like body. Drinkable, as it should be, but eventually flawed due not to the recipe quality or the brewing but the style limits. Interesting to try though for the odd style alone. (75cl bottle from Delhaize Heverlee)

22/XII/15 - 33cl bottle from Delhaize (Brusselsesteenweg, Ledeberg) @ home - BB: VI/2020 (2015-1753)

Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, bit sweet, yeasty, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, big spicy, grassy, fruity touch, green banana. Aftertaste: metallic, bitter, some caramel. Underwhelming.

Huge, dense, rather stable yellow head over foxy orange beer, very well-carbonated. EU hops, sweet & lightly coloured malts, orange(peel), caramel, ironoxyde, orangecakes. Bitterish-toasted flavour, caramel and orangepeel even more present. Herbal, finish is rather dry. Well carbonated, slick, medium bodied. Pretty decent.

Amberkleurig bier met romige witte schuimkraag. Geuren van appelsien, marsepein. Smaakt redelijk zoet. Caramel, beetje plakkerig. Degelijk bier. Niet meer dan dat.

75cl bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with a nice white head. Caramel, fruits, yeast and spices in the aroma. Average to high carbonation and medium body. Taste is more on the bitter side with some fruity notes. Overall, a nice beer.
