COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by women, this heavy blonde beer has 8.5% ABV and second fermentation in the bottle. This beer has a pale blonde colour and fine, white creamy and lacing foam. The aroma is very balanced, with a fruity and flowery background and a first impression of chardonnay, that further evolves to a spicy, mild hop aroma. The flavour is very balanced with fruity notes of apple and chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mildly bitter aftertaste and a wonderful, round mouth feeling with a nice evolution.

Specialty beer, brewed once a year on the occasion of International Women’s Day

C-. Pours a hazy yellow color with white head. Has a unique flavor I’m not sure I’m a fan of. Dry finish

Not a giant fan of this beer. More hop forward and citrusy than I expected. Gold appearance and a potent, not particularly pleasant aftertaste. Tried at Dario’s in 2017.

Poured from a bottle, this beer has a hazy pale blonde color with a white well laced head The aroma is subdued with some fruity and floral notes, with a hint of wine, spice and floral hops. The flavour is mild with fruity notes of grapes and apricots. A light body with a, mildly bitter finish. A very drinkable beer.

Yeasty nose with notes of vanilla. Cloudy pale yellow with a huge head. Thin crisp body turns peppery quickly. Hefty alcohol whaft injects the flavors into the sides of the mouth for a hightened taste profile. Classy. Nice.

2016 bottle. It’s fine- not great, especially for Delirium. Pours cloudy and golden with sort of weird sea monkey floaters, and smells very fruity - almost like a lambic. The taste has that Belgian-y wheat but a lot of fruit forward and a grapefruity aftertaste, sort of like if you pour some Sauv Blanc in a wheat beer. Nice that it’s for International Women’s Day and pink elephants are cute. Pairs well with a horrible cold, a sick day in bed, and mostly rating based on your boo boo’s expert opinion.

2014 brew, 0.75 cork and caged bottle, just out of date when shared between five at the March 2017 Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange meeting in Chez Sophie, cheers Mat for the beer and the venue. Pale golden pour, white topping. Highly carbonated (a bit fizzy) and a headache in waiting. Floral/spicy/winey aroma and taste, lighter flavoured than the normal Delirium? Maybe, still ’boozy’ though.

75cl bottle (2014) @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, courtesy of myself. Pours a misty gold, thin white head. Nice floral aroma. Typically high carbonation. Taste seems fairly similar to standard Delirium. Without having the original to compare, it’s hard to say. Good lightly spicy Belgian blonde with a nice bit of oomph from its 8.5% strength.
