2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
I have mixed feeling about Delirium Nocturnum. The pour was unsettling, literally. There were small chunks floating in the glass that so disconcerted us that we had to look up online to see if this was normal or if we had a bad beer. Apparently it’s normal. We drank it, at least, and we didn’t get sick.
The taste was just okay. I wouldn’t seek this beer out again.
Reddish brown with big beige head. Aroma is spicy sweet with dark fruit and caramel. Taste is light sweet with red wine tannins and sourness, woody bitter finish. Medium body with some alcohol bite. Nicely balanced and complex. nathanvc (599) - Brugge, BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2017
At Cambrinus, Bruges. Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, big, frothy, tan head. The aroma contains caramel, dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits, licorice, hops and spices. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter, ending almost cloying and a bit hoppy and spicy.; warming aclohol. Medium body, oily/slick texture, soft fizzy carbonation. Can't shake the feeling that something's off, it could have been better, perhaps in want of more richness... fombe89 (3733) - Asturias, SPAIN - SEP 13, 2017

Color marron oscuro, corona de espuma beige, aromas tostados con notas a caramelo, sabor caramelo final dulce cuerpo denso.
Dark red ale with intensely fizzy head. Pour carefully! Very obviously bottle conditioned. Might get another one in and keep it for a few years. Delicious beer but incredibly rich. Took me over an hour to finish. Porcellini (52) - Barcelona, SPAIN - SEP 2, 2017
Excelente cerveza con espuma duradera y densa. Regusto a frutos secos y pany diversos aromas.

Bottle. Pours a very dark color with generous foamy beige head. Predominantly caramel malt aroma. Slightly sweet flavor with a bit of roasted malt and caramel notes along with some fruitiness. Medium-to-full bodied with a bit of hoppy bitterness to balance the sweetness in the finish. Quite nice. thejackpacker (529) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2017
Tap at Delirium Cafe, like a fine wine, hints of nuts. Understanding why I used to feel quite gone after a pint or two of these in my local in Paris.... skeevn (1) - BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2017 does not count
