Sampled from a stoneware-style bottle with a crown cork top, a Christmas present from Rachel. Pours a clear, rich orange/brown with a creamy-coloured head. Very full flavours with a creamy mouthfeel. Caramel and candy sugar dominate with hints of yeast and leather. Also some of the typical bubblegum/pear drops flavour that comes with Belgian yeast. Excellent rich bitterness at the end. A perfect beer for a Christmas evening. Excellent!

Bottle, drunk christmas eve. pours golden amber with a creamy fizzy head leaving rings of lacing. inviting aroma of dark toffee and spicy tangy belgian yeast. tastes similar, but with more sour funkiness. subtle apple juice, raisins and marzipan. sweet and tart are balanced, but tbh id have preferred more sugary sticky dark fruits for an xmas ale. still delicious

Acquired via trade with Chopz. Pours an average size frothy beige head and has a murky amber/brownish appearance with pretty big sediments visible. Some decent sticky lacing. Aromas of toasty malts, yeast, spices and dry fruits. Flavours are mostly dry fruit (plums, raisins) some notes of spices, yeast. The high abv is pretty noticeable, but is not really offensive, still quite drinkable. Has a dry finish. Full bodied mouthfeel. Great retention.

A huge head that lasts. Aroma is dried fruits, holiday spices, hint of honey. Medium carbonation. Malty, dried fruits, caramel, nuts and a dry finish. Warmth feeling, Belgians really know how to hide high alcohol levels. This feel and taste more like 67%. Fine, complex and classic beer.

Im thankful I remembered the last time I had Delerium beers it was a gusher. This beautiful amber brown brew was capped with a huge beige head that had a fragrant aroma of malty toffee, raisins, figs, and bread pudding. Fairly full bodied with a dry finish. The taste is malty, a touch of heat, woodsy tannic oak, tobacco, dried fruits. Im guessing this is a vintage from several years ago but thats all to the good as I made this smooth mellow monster to warm me on this Christmas evening.
