Hazy brown colour, thick beige head with long time lacing. Fruity aroma, like a christmas fruitcake, cherrys, caramel, molasses, cinnamon and malt. Balanced taste between sweet and bitter, very fruity flavor, hints of cinnamon and other spices, caramel, nuts and malt. Medium to full body, slightly astringent sensation on the end, the alcohol taste and sensation is present from the start to the end. Very good, should be available all year long. phranq (210) - - JAN 25, 2017
Probably 4 year old bottle. Pours brown red with offwhite head. Lots of floating yeast? Boozy smell of malt. Taste is ok roasted malts and biscuit.

Pours a slightly hazy reddish color with a thick fluffy white head. No yeast sediment in the glass at all. Aroma of sugar cookie, caramel, spiced rum, dried dark fruits, candi sugar, and a hint of alcohol. Flavors were similar with lots of candi sugar, spices, cookie/biscuit, warming alcohol and a very slight bitterness. Thick and syrupy mouthfeel, very well carbonated, with a slick and sticky mouthfeel. A great beer. I prefer it to the regular DT. gyhallmanti (510) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 11, 2017
33cl bottle at home. Pours a clear ruby colour with a creamy off white head which lingers for a long time. Aroma of spices, caramel, yeast, toffee, prunes, dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter with a acidic finish. Notes of spices, dark malts, apple juices, raisins, prunes, yeast. Texture is oily, medium bodied with medium carbonation. klukas (271) - Rijeka, CROATIA - JAN 7, 2017
Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into a trappist glass.
Appearance: Blurry copper colour; Rich thick head with “spring” in the centar.
Aroma: Dried fruit, alcohol…
Palate: Full body, creamy, moderate carbonation with many small nibbling bubbles.
Taste: Sweet, caramel, dried fruit, mineral water, roasted or brown sugar, old banana; moderate bitter/sweet alcoholic aftertaste.
Overall impression: Enjoyable, tasty, complex, strong. Grumpelmies (318) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle. Copper coloured. Nice creamy long lasting head with beautiful lacing. Aroma of yeast, sugar, red (dried) fruits and malts. Taste of caramell, nuts, raisins, plums, yeast and sugar. Manages to be sweet, spicy and bitter at the same time. Highly carbonated. Quite balanced and the alcohol is incorporated very well but it doesn’t put me in a very festive mood. I prefer the other Deliriums. thmsboyd (198) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2017
330mL bottle BBE: 09.18 (aged for approx. 18 months). Chilled to well-chilled (around 6 degrees). Pours a cloudy deep red with large, billowy, yellow head with extensive lacing. Masses of orange, sherbet, rolled oats, lemon, coriander, bubblegum and clove on the nose. Heavily sweet with a real candied note, and a touch of alcohol astringency. Full-bodied with a somewhat sticky texture, high carbonation and a spicy finish. A really interesting nose promises much, but perhaps this has taken Tremens a bit too far, and lost some of its balance.
