A huge head that lasts.
Aroma is dried fruits, holiday spices, hint of honey.
Medium carbonation. Malty, dried fruits, caramel, nuts and a dry finish.
Warmth feeling, Belgians really know how to hide high alcohol levels. This feel and taste more like 6–7%.

I’m thankful I remembered the last time I had Delerium beers it was a gusher.
This beautiful amber brown brew was capped with a huge beige head that had a fragrant aroma of malty toffee, raisins, figs, and bread pudding.
Fairly full bodied with a dry finish. The taste is malty, a touch of heat, woodsy tannic oak, tobacco, dried fruits. I’m guessing this is a vintage from several years ago but that’s all to the good as I made this smooth mellow monster to warm me on this Christmas evening. sokuzs1 (1356) - POLAND - DEC 19, 2016

On tap, Bierhuis One of three strong Belgian beers in a "flight" tasting (plus Gulden Draak and Gouden Carolus Christmas). Of the three this has a bit lighter color, but still brown. Nice aroma, heavy lacing, nice feel on tongue. Sipping from the other two for comparison, this one has bit lighter taste as well. Nice lingering aftertaste. Excellent beer.
