On Tap in Ann Arbor, This is a very spicy and sweet beer. I though that the sugar content was a little too high and it had a syrupy palate. The aroma and look of the beer was great. There are big notes of the seasonal spices, but I think it would have been better a little more subtle flavor and sweetness. Bold.
Bottle @home (rating backlog). Pours copper/orange, white head. Nose is spices, fruity, malty. Taste is oranges, spices, fruity, slight peach. TimE (5992) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 19, 2017
The deep amber, malty brew brings up lots of images of Christmas with a flavorful profile of cinannmon, cloves, all spices and stewed oranges. Great depth with a warming finish davidf93 (151) - Stellenbosch, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 26, 2017
Red Orange colour, quite frothy head. Earthy malty sweet aroma. Quite alcohol. shawnmurphy (553) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAY 24, 2017
750-ml caged and corked bottle pours cloudy orange-brown with small off-white head. Aroma: caramel, yeast, sweet spices. Flavor: all of the above with some honey and grapes. Medium- to full-bodied. Marko (5849) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 24, 2017
How the hell didn’t I rate this. Noted at least 1 Belgian rating missing from where it was before recently, so who knows, maybe this one fell victim to some moron or just bug. Shared with Hrabren, thanks! Slighly hazy dark amber body, enormous off white head. Fresh caramel and wild strawberry aromas, slome bubblegum. Taste... mild fruitiness beaten by all too dry phenolic touches. Strawberry and light peach. Okay, good even perfumey Belgian ale.

Hazy amber colour with white foam. Aromas of sweet cherry, plum and lollipops. Palate, full body with sooth texture leaving sweet finish. Taste, sweet of spice, cinnamon, fruits and light touch of alcohol. Overall, nice cinnamon gum like sweet beer. ALIBALI (2313) - Kiel, GERMANY - APR 28, 2017

Ruddy brown pour with everlasting tan foam. Aroma is malty and semi sweet with some astringent, somewhat sour/metallic notes. Flavor follows very closely. Having just had Rochefort 8 and regularly drinking Chimay Blue, this was a letdown for sure. The pink elephant had done well for me in the past, but not so much with this one. Okay, and drinkable for sure, but expectations were so high. hawthorne00 (4028) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 16, 2017
Bottle. Deep clear red with a very large off white head. Aroma of caramelised bananas, raisins, prunes, mace, aniseed. Full bodied, not terribly syrupy or boozy. Moderate carbonation. Some roasted flavours join the dried and stewed fruit and the finish is drier than expected with moderate bitterness. Licorice and aniseed hang around. Good. msbernac (2761) - Krakow, POLAND - FEB 21, 2017
