Bottle from 2 be. Pours dark murky red with a pink tinged head. Aroma of cherries and other red berries. Near med body. Flavor has lots of cherry and berry. There’s a hint towards sour, but hardly any. It’s fairly good berry all the way to the finish. Certainly not dry, but there’s a little berry seed astringency. Certainly different and interesting.

Murky red color with pinkish head. Aroma has cherry preserve notes with some almonds and a strong belgian ale character underneath. Taste starts sweet and fruity, continues with yeast notes and some boozy fruit liquor, finishes with a light drying bitterness. Medium body and carbonation, feels quite smooth on the palate. Overall it's a really decent fruit ale, although quite strong for the style.

2. 11. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Fruity aroma with that Delirium note to it. Darker red-brown colour with some head with low retention. Taste is of sour cherries, nicely balanced with sweet side and just a bit of bitterness at finish. Aftertaste is present and complex, nicely balanced. This is really an excellent beer, but a desert beer nonetheless. Maybe just one for the taste, drinking more of these would really be an overkil. Be warned!

Clearly this is the best cherry bear I have ever tasted. A perfect balance of cherry and sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

07-OCT-2017, bottle @home, from Arnes Bottleshop, Westmarket, with Ulkløbben. Hazy red with a lasting, pink head. Cherry. Very sweet. Full for the style.

It poured a hazy dark red liquid with a pink head. Smell and taste of cherries, berries and almonds. Sweet and easy to drink that gets another dimension from the extra strength, however you don’t feel the high alcohol.

A little disappointed with this one. Looks good and for a well known beer I had fairly high expectations. Although intentionally sweet, I found it a bit too much and to overpower other flavours present. When the sweetness fades from the palate nothing is really left leaving the drinker somewhat unsatisfied.

Don't know why the low ratings. Good thing I tasted it before I read the ratings. Good aroma. Wonderful taste. A little sweet. But still very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
