2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at Friends of Ham. I like almost all fruit beers but this one was sickening.
It was like drinking kool aid filled with excess sugar and spiked with alcohol. It was refreshing but
Would have happily traded this for my husband’s Kernel.
Draft from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat. Poured a murky reddish brown with a frothy off white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt fake sugar, raspberry cherry boiled sweets and alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet, light sour with a dry, sweet sticky rich sugary tart fruit, floral cough sweet palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super sweet and not exactly pleasant. Tuoksu ja maku on dominoivan kirsikkainen, makea. Suutuntuma lähes täyteläinen, överi makea, ei juuri hiilihappoa. Ei tätä yhtä desiä enempää halua juoda. drjay44 (3712) - Salida, Colorado, USA - JUL 18, 2017
750 ml. corked and caged bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained, light beige head, with no lacing over an essentially clear, amber (SRM 13) body........nose is pie cherry, with heavy cherry, light sour acid tones, mild ginger and cinnamon notes, sugar, slight malts, no hops.....taste is sweet with heavy cherry, light sourness, mild spices of ginger and cinnamon, light malts, finishing sweet with light sour notes, no hops......mouth feel, medium sticky body, moderate alcohol warmth, slight carbonation. This is a beer that is a liquid mildly sour cherry pie filling in both aroma and flavor. As a result the description as a dessert beer is correct. The base beer is quite dominated by the fruit, and as a result is rather difficult to identify as to style which is important is rating Fruit Beers. Bottle. Clear dark red color, big foamy beige head. Heavy sweet cherry aroma. Sweet taste, annoying sweetener taste, slightly metallic, medium bitter. Long bitterness, malty, slightly artificial aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, fresh carbonation.

A bit of a disappointment compared to nocturnum, christmas, and tremmens. The Delirium fruit beer is just ok. . . heavy sweet cherry and not a whole lot else. Not much aroma, but sweet and grassy. Very heavy sweet cherry flavor. Clean finish. Just ok, and not recommended compared to the other selection from Delirium. Pretty smooth for 8% I’ll give it that. (Caveat: not much of a fruit beer person). Acaro (236) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 22, 2017
Aroma: Sweet cherries.
Appearance: Dark red color with hazy liquid and light pink head.
Taste: Heavy sweetness with a light sour touch.
Palate: Medium body with thin texture and average carbonation. Sweet cherry finish.
Overall: Too extremely sweet with that pinch of sour that reminds of a sour cherry candy. Magela (146) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - JUN 7, 2017
Aroma of berries and caramel. Taste strong and sweet, some hints of sour; body is waterish. A little hop in the final, but not enough to compensate the sweetness. peponi (1868) - Hannover, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2017
Aroma: fruits, cherries.
Appearance: reddish color and white head.
Taste: fruity, cherries, sweet notes.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation.
Overall: decent fruity ale. vinivini (2426) - Gomel, BELARUS - MAY 28, 2017
Draught. Hazy ruby colour. Pink head. Lots of cherry both on nose and tongue. Sugary sweetness. Still tasty.
