The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Buğday birası. Aşırı asitli, çok fazla köpüğü de var. Malt tadı fazla alınamıyor. Gövde bulanık.

Bottle - Golden amber with large white head. High carbonation. Sweet coriander, faint banana aroma. Slight ting on tongue, but soft. Decent tasting, alcoholic finish. 8.5% strength - beer to sip!

Wonderful belgian Beer. Lots of carbonation, slightly hazy, beautiful light color. Nose: Very belgian - Bubblegum, clove, hay, a little funk Taste: Very crisp and refreshing. Very balanced bitterness, dry, floral. If you like belgian beer, you're gonna love this.

Okay. Belgian-strong pale blond, slightly malty, spicy dry bitterness. Not a favorite but better than the others I️ tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From Nov 2007 I got this one in a trade with Wasatch. Thanks John! This pours from 11.2 oz bottle a hazy straw gold (that eventuates to a cloudy look by the final pour) with a huge head of foam and lots of sticky lacing. The foam hardly recedes at all during the entire session. Nice. The smell is fairly light but has notes of yeast and fruit. The taste has a nice yeast flavour along with some dark fruit and some citrus that peaks near the finish. More sips in and I'm getting some banana and a light touch of clove. Very nicely flavourful. There's definitely a sour snap hiding in the background and ends up in the finish. Nice warming there as well. The body is medium light and the carbonation is light. This is a nice sipping Ale not overly assertive with any one flavour but it's darn tasty. I'd get this again.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2017 Bottle from supermarket. Just called Delirium Belgian Strong Beer. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head, very lively. Smells like Savlon antiseptic cream. Tastes like it too! Yeasty, wheaty, just not very nice.

(330 ml bottle) Delirium Tremens: the rapid onset of confusion and spasms, resulting from alcohol withdrawal. At 9% ABV, there's hardly any chance of that! This gruesome malady's beery namesake is presented in a grey, ceramic bottle; simply branded 'Delirium'. Pours a slightly hazy, golden-yellow beer, with vigorous fine carbonation, forming a tight white head, made from beautifully regular pearly bubbles. Yeast aromas come through first, echoing a Hefeweizen: banana and clove ride the cusp of the vapour. Sweet malt lies just behind, with notes of gooey bread dough. The hops deliver just a fine whiff of citrus, before deeper notes take hold: honey, oak sap, crème brûlée, sultanas, caramelised cashew nuts, mineral water, and a subtle earthy finish. Crisp and clean, but extremely effervescent - explosive and tumultuous. Overall, not bad. Despite the complexity of Delirium's aroma, it's just a little lacking. Sweet, spicy, and highly refreshing, but far too fizzy to comfortably drink.
