The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Bottle. Heavy carbonation, lasting head and a beer that I get excited about when I drink it. A good entry beer into Belgium beers.

Fantastisk Tripple. Kraftig karbonering giver et flot skum. Ultra klar og let tilgængelighed. Dejlig mundfylde, der glider over i en dejlig eftersmag. Verdens bedste Tripple. Punktum. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle with commonmac during March madness. Gold with thick white head and good lacing. Bright belgian yeast nose with some fruitiness and floral character. Taste is sweet, fruity, yeast, really nice. Just an overall great pleasant beer. On the light side, which is sometimes perfect.

Somehow overlooked my avatar namesake all these reviews, this old favorite pours clear golden with a frothy white top that lingers. Aroma is complex with lemon, pepper, and a grainy character than smells slightly bitter. Flavor follows nose thoroughly. Finish is fairly clean with a slight bite of hop which lends a dryness.

Good name for what it is.
