The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

La meilleur bìère au monde avec son goût de miel. Quel délice! Forte mais légère à boire, ce qui est trompeur justement lorsqu’on se lève de sa chaisse. Dégusté lentement, légèrement, en toute fraicheur...

If you need to convince someone of the amazing flavor and beauty of a Belgian Strong Ale, point them to the Delirium. This beer is really fantastic, nice floral notes, good finish, refreshing. Perfect

I’ve always been partial to darker beers until I tried this, By far one of the best beers I’ve ever had. You would never know that it is 8.5 % alcohol.

My favorite beer. It has an aroma like a loaf of bread halfway through baking.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2012 Sweet yeast/ bubblegum aroma. Clear golden body with medium head, nice lacing. Dominant taste of bubblegum, followed by a peppery finish. Crisp, dry balanced with sweetness. Subtle licorice aftertaste... One of the best

This beer is the masterpiece from Belgium. The smell helps you determine the uniqueness, and the taste leaves you in awe of one of the greatest beers in the World. It’s light, yet has a strong pleasant and fruity taste. You must try this beer before you die.
