In documented mythology the creation of strawberries is attributed to the ancient Goddess Astarte, more commonly known by her Greek name Aphrodite. Legend says that upon the death of the mortal Adonis that the Goddess wept with such passion that her tears fell to the ground as small red hearts. We started with a traditional Cream Ale, light and crisp with a great mouthfeel… Then we added over a hundred pounds of fresh strawberries to give it an incredible nose, and slight tart finish. With just the right amount of fruit to make it noticeable but not overpowering, this summer seasonal is a perfect offering to the celestial mother of love.

16 ounce can. Thanks James. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Taste is strawberry, malt, citrus, and yeast. Interesting take on a Cream Ale.

6/10/17. On tap at Landmark. Golden pour with a small khaki head. Light strawberry chapstick aroma. Light strawberry flavor, grainy blonde ale otherwise. Eh.

Draught. Hazy pale yellow with very small frothy white head, faint strawberry-malt aroma, high carbonation, lightly sweet malty taste with strawberry flavor, thin body, medium finish. Nice strawberry flavor enhances the taste.

16 ounce can. Medium gold color topped by a moderate sized frothy white head. Lightly fragrant pale malt nose hints a strawberries and cream. Flavor is tart with more berry notes. Creamy mouthfeel and flavor. Tart, berry finish.

Draft - Light strawberry and cream. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Lots of Woody notes, strawberry with a creamy texture. Woody notes are really unusual.

Draft at the brewery, 6/25/16. Murky pour.  Pink hue.  Nice smooth, super drinkable flavor.  Hint of strawberry.  Drinks fairly creamy, cream ale flavor-wise, with that strawberry adding a nice, subtle flavor. Impressed by how good this was and how well it avoids being cloying.

Pours a murky gold-orange. A sweet strawberry and sugar aroma. Not a really good taste like I expected - sweet strawberry with sugar and yeast, but not much of a cream taste. A watered down taste.

ACBF 2016. Poured a cloudy straw color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of tart strawberry, sugar, and Belgian yeast. Taste mimics the nose with a grainy finish.

This beer blew my mind. I couldn’t believe I was drinking and loving a strawberry beer! The flavor was tart and refreshing. This is a must try!

Cloudy straw color with the slightest tint of pink. Aroma is somewhat sweet and grainy. Soft and light body. Very smooth. Flabor is very pleasing and fresh with hints of natural strawberry flavor. Overall very refreshing. Will drink this again. Very good summer beer.
