slightly hazy pale amber with subtle lemon and redcurrant on the nose. Gentle body, moderate carbonation, shortcake malt and a suggestion of gooseberry hops. At 8 months past the best before probably not a true reflection

Aroma: Biscuit, pineapple, hard candy and a slight metallic hint.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing.

Taste: Lemon, passionfruit and yeast. Subtle spice in the finish. Very tasty.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: A delicious, bitter, citrussy Pale Ale. Based on this, I’m really looking forward to trying more beers from DemonBrew.

[cask at Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh] Dark golden amber beer with a decent, tight white head. Got that slightly zingy kiwi hop nose, but mostly soft biscuity malt on the aroma. Similar flavours as well – the sprightly, oily hop is there, but at session levels. Good drinker [11122012]

My last beer sampled for the festival.... General caramel malt base with a good, lively palate (much better than average among UK beers, esp. in the Golden Ale or Bitter style). Bready/yeasty aroma. Golden color (of course.). O.k. (cask at Scottish Real Ale Festival, Edinburgh, June 2012)
