French: Une blonde.
English: A blonde. But true! The Astroblonde, our main beer, Pils is a true family of the "German Pils. Unlike the Czech Pils type that is more malty and darker in color, the German is more refined and usually cooler and more hoppy. With our Astroblonde-Pils, we want to reintroduce a style of beer in Paris who almost yn’existe (we mean "real" Pils), but that was very popular here in the years 1900 to 1920. Bitter, but not too much, we have adapted to the Parisian taste. Therefore, we use a high rate of specialty malts that balance perfectly the different hops bitterness.

Golden colour, with surprisingly thick head. Bready character in the aroma. Some hop, some malt but not much fizz in it. Doesn’t leave all that much cause why to choose this one over the cheaper domestic lagers.

budedou (1048) - Saint Etienne, FRANCE - MAY 9, 2016

thellgren (1127) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2015
0.33 l bottle from local supermarket. Golden colour with some head. Taste has malts and after taste lots of hops in a bitter way. This is really a pils not just another pale lager. Very good.

På flaska @ Berns Bistro & Bar. Ljusgul i färgen. Doftar torrt hö. Smakar sött och tråkigt. Tunn.

[email protected] bistro&bar. Ljust halmgul med fingertjockt skum. Doftar mest torkat hö. Sötjolmig smak.

Grumbo (3975) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2015
Bottle from Paris which my mrs brought back to UK. Beer pours a clear pale gold colour with a big lasting white head. Aroma of grain, malt and hops. Moderately sweet, with a medium hoppy bitterness. Body is light-medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft. Nothing special here.

tbonde (364) - DENMARK - MAY 5, 2015
33cl [email protected] Bistro, [email protected] 5 degrees C. Pours light yellow with ample white head with sufficient retention. Aroma of hay, grass and malt. Light malty taste with a pleasant bitter hoppiness in the aftertaste. Easily drinkable but by no means memorable pilsener/lager except for the beautiful presentation of the bottle. A beer to be seen with more than to enjoy for its specific taste?

gnoff (10985) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 30, 2015
33 cl bottle. BB 09.11.15 / 11.
Clear straw to pale golden color, builds up a fairly big white head that settles to a finger thick creamy one that has left lacing on the glass. Bread crust "lager like" character in the scent. Malty, some vegetal notes, herbal hops taste. Herbal, malty aftertaste. To the thin sida mouthfeel, CO2 feels low, yet some fizzyness on the tongue. Medium bitterness that has some character to it.
Doesn’t stand out really, but feels clean and well made.
