22/VII/2012 - 75cl bottle from De Bierloods / Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BB: 12/XII/11 - (2012-735) JoeinDahlem (1597) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 8, 2010
Clear red to rust brown beer, small light beige to yellow head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, green apple skin, some citrus, caramel, slight hint of mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: caramel, little sweet, some mocha, ripe as well as dried fruits, little bitter. Aftertaste: banana, caramel, little grassy, citrus, dark chocolate.
From chilled 75 cL bottle at ZBF. Fairly smooth and subtle nose, with some roast malt, a tart fruit note, and a touch of bitter chocolate. Cloudy dark brown color with a big beige head. Surprisingly firm bitterness with a nice grainy malt flavor, avoiding sweetness (just the lightest impression of brown sugar). Harmonious, balanced, well-rounded and dry dubbel with a serious maltiness. Impressive. 77ships (11026) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 13, 2015
750 ml. bottle sampled @ 20ste Zomerbierfestival. Made for a chiro (a scouts-like organization). Dark brown, red hued, light tanned head. Nose is licorice, light cacao, herbal, syrup, lightly medicinal,… Taste is akin to a very light & fizzy porter, cacao, lightly herbal, thin chocolate, dark fruits, sweetish, light brown sugar,… Body is a bit too light & fizzy. Not very attenuated but quite pleasant to drink. Quite a nice beer. BigMomma (249) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 8, 2010
Tasting at ZBF. Hazy brown color with a brown head. Aroma has some strong notes of roasted mal and dark chocolate. Taste is full of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Good brew. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 15, 2010
Bottle at ZBF 2010 shared with Travlr and BigMomma. Pours a hazy brown with a decent tan head that leaves okay lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and toffee. Taste is roast, chocolate liquor, toffee. Buttery, rich palate. Very nice.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt, caramel and hops. yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2011
Bottle, 75cl. A dense, two-finger off-white head sits on top of a mostly clear, dark amber body. Some lacings. Dried fruits, some pleasant herbyness and some dark malts. Quite pleasant, but lacking some on complexity. The same can be said of the flavor. Dried fruits and some orange peel, with maltyness, some alcohol notes and a fine bitterness. Full-bodied and effervescent, with some bitterness in the end. Well, it lacks on complexity, but it’s tasteful and quite drinkable anyway. 111105 Jerre (3823) - Waregem, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2013
