Grumbler purchase from Breeze-IN, Juneau AK. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving no lacing. The smell definitely had the raspberry but nothing else showed any substantial activity. The taste was sweet and acidic. If anything, the raspberry’s authentic. There’s a sharp acidic aftertaste leading into a strong acidic semi - dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The wheat seemed barely there and no wheat bite as I normally expect from the style. Overall, eh, not bad but perhaps not as balanced as I would have hoped for. Denali, if you add some more wheat to this, I betcha it would help balance it a bit more. I’d still have again.

Growler. Slightly cloudy red/amber with a small, off white head. Aroma of ripe raspberries, herbal tea and wheat. Flavor is slightly sweet and tart raspberries, wheat malt and a very mild hop bitterness. Light body with average carbonation. Very light wheat beer with a nice raspberry character.
