Can, cola colored beer, bubbly cream colored head. Aroma is malty and yeasty, hint of dried fruit. Taste is caramel and malt, hint of cloves?, a bit of coffee. Palate it pretty good, carbonation moderately lively. I’m into dark and malty right now, so this is pretty good.

Growler. Deep brown with a small spotty, off white head. Aroma of typical pie spice, ginger, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, with a light graham cracker scent. Flavor follows with pie spice and cracker malt, light alcohol in the finish. This is a nice holiday dessert beer, very spicy but they mellow out as the beer warms.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, spices, and a bit of brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, cloves, cardemomme, malt, over ripe fruits, and a bit of brettanomyces, leading to a dry, spicy, and a bit of tart finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.
