Pale, semi-translucent gold with no head. Aroma is of sour lemons, sourdough bread, coriander and pepper. Quite a starchy, bready quaff. Some canned corn juice, pale lemons and coriander. Reminds me a little bit of Goose Island’s 312 wheat. Powdery, grainy and starchy. Nutmeg and cumin? Hmm. Not good, but not quite the worst. TheDean (786) - MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 5, 2004
Wounderful sweet auroma and beautiful color. Fruity with just enough hops to make things interesting. Taste a little watered down, bit overall very tasty. JPDIPSO (6236) - Wauwatosa, USA - FEB 19, 2004
UPDATED: APR 16, 2005 As I drank the original I realized that this would need a rerate, but hasn’t brave enough to try it again until now. Hazed golden color with a small diminishing white head. Sweet wheat, floral and orange zest aromas. Hints of bitter coriander lurks in background. Light sweet malt flavors with mild orange and coriander. Finish has a strong pepper and orange zest that distracts, but is still much improved from the first time I tried this. Knew they wouldn’t make something as bad as the last one I tried, but I had to dance with who brung me. Original Rate 19 Feb., 04: (1,1,2,2,1), Dirty, hazy light brownish tan color. Smallish off white head. Starburst rotten oranges and cucumber salad aroma. While it may sound interesting, not very appealing. Actually does not taste nearly as bad as it smells, Light citrus start leading to a mild malt, but ending in a sour celery, pipe cleaner and light coriander finish. I could find no reason to carry any further relationships with this vegetable stew.
