COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This warming Belgian Quad is made with a variety of crystal malts that yield a delightful malt profile with layers of caramel and toffee flavors. The Belgian yeasts contribute a fruity complexity reminiscent of plums and raisins that mellows out the high alcohol content. Enjoy this beer by a warm fire, she’ll be sure to help thaw your toes on a snowy afternoon.

Bomber. Caramel and toffee malt aroma with notes of plum, raisin, candi sugar, Belgian yeast spice and some booze. Pours dark reddish-caramel colored with a thin tan head that has poor retention and some lacing. Starts with sweet caramel and toffee malt flavors with dark fruit sweetness as well. Finishes smooth but a bit dry with candi sugar, spicy Belgian yeast and a good amount of booze. Pretty nice quad, but doesn’t hide the booze very well.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of toffee, caramel, dried fruit, spice and yeast. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, dried fruit, caramel, spice and light yeast with a smooth lingering dried fruit finish.

Bomber - hazy red - nose of cherry, raisin, plum, brown sugar, light tartness, alcohol - soft carbonation - Belgian yeast adds a fair amount of spiciness and dusty/earthiness - plum, raisin, caramelized sugar, cherry - a bit boozy, though - a fair rendition, though, especially considering the brewery.
