"I love Ballast Points lime wheat, but it also has chili peppers and ginger. This one was just ok. Grassy and a bit fruity and tart, but nothing really stands out. OK as a summer refresher."

Had on a recent trip to Colorado. This one didnt have a ton of lime flavor to speak of really but it was pretty tasty. Summer heat was pretty brutal that day and this beer hit the spot.

On tap at Denver Beer Co. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a frothy white head and great lacing. Fruit peel, wheat, somewhat bready, a touch of herbs, biscuit, and lemon peel in the aroma. Taste is zesty, wheaty, light citrus, lemon, biscuit, somewhat doughy, an refreshing with a crisp finish. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Really not bad for a wheat at all.

Sampled at GABF 2012. My favorite of the Thursday session. Lime and citrus notes are bright followed by some real nice cereal tastes. I could see this as a great session beer. How a fruited wheat beer should be done.

Sampled on 10/11/12 at GABF. This wheat beer pours a light yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheat, fruit a touch of lime. A medium to light bodied wheat ale. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation. Nice balance. Crisp and clean. Touch of lime. Interesting. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brings notes of herbal and minty notes, hints of lime of course, some slight biscuit and bread, but its too much lime, overdone and the wheat goes away. Taste is big sweet, minty, herbal, and lime skin like notes with the lime flesh, touch of biscuit, some slight fruity notes but the lime is too much.

On draft at Denver Beer Co. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is slight bread, lime zest, and overpowering lime leaves. Flavor is like Sprite without sugar- lime zest and leaves up front that mellow out towards the end. Interesting, but a bit one-dimensional. Interesting flavor to add to a wheat ale.

draft. muddy light brown with no head. disgusting. horribly strong perfumed lime leaf and flowered potourri nose with excessive strong citronella candle, green, raw and spoiled garlic and strong burnt candle wax aroma. horribly tart with an oily and slick texture; the astoundingly strong use of lime leaves (NOT lime, but lime leaves, like you add thirteen pounds of lime leaves to a Thai dish) completely ruins this beer - theres no hefeweizen character at all. absolutely ruined, probably one of the worst flavors Ive ever tasted in my life, and the thought crossed my mind that its like sucking on a bar of lime-infused bathsoap. no head, no carbonation, totally ruined by the excessive addition of lime leaves. if the lime were toned down somewhat it would be halfway acceptable, but as it is it tastes like youre eating a bar of citronella soap. horrid. so, looking at the commercial description: A brilliant straw pour (NOPE) with mild lacing (NOPE), this wheat has a nose of fresh lime citrus (NOPE), lemon grass (NOPE), and banana (NOPE). A boldly refreshing (NOPE) porch pounder (NOPE) with bright tones of Kaffir Lime (YES) , clementine (NOPE), mild spices (NOPE) and a crisp, clean finish (NOPE).

Poured at SAVOR. Poured a hazy straw color with a small solid white head. Aroma was lime, lime leaf, wheat notes. Crisp notes. Lime and wheat dominate this one. Very interesting.

On tap @ brewery. Hazy straw yellow with an intense nose of lime zest, lemon grass, and a certain acidity that reminds me of paint. Taste was a refreshing blast of wheaty lime, pepper, herbal spices witrh a lime-juice dry wheaty finish. Interesting and bold, I just cant take a whole pint of it
