Clear brilliant amber/copper with very little white head. Aroma of toffee with a slight biscuity caramel sweetness and a touch of mineral water. Kinda smells like a märzen, actually. Taste was the same, some mineral water, toffee, spicy saaz hops, and a biscuity malty undertone, with a kiss of caramel. Very British, but refined and spicy (saaz).
