Pour is a hazed golden with an almost nonexistent head...smell is light and fruity with some apples and pears...toasty and sweet up front with a light grassy bitterness in the finish...why is this rated so low? Well done. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2009
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light orange colored body. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of Mount Hood hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. deyholla (12289) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 28, 2013
On tap at the Denver airport. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw and grass with a hint of slight sweetness. Flavor has straw throughout with a touch of grassiness that makes it quite drinkable. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 13, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate citrus, honey, and a hint of grass. It’s a transparent gold with a one finger creamy white head that settles to a thick film. There are some solid laced rings left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of honey with a touch of bread. The finish has light citrus, faint lemon peel, and grass. It’s light bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Ratman197 (15368) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 12, 2009

Draft at the airport location. Clear golden-orange with a lasting ring of creamy bubbles. Mild nose of dry grass and caramel. Taste is toast, caramel, nutty dry grass and a hint of citrus. Light-medium body is dry with medium carbonation. Oakes (18851) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 17, 2012
Slightly golden colour that is a bit dull. The aroma is quite malty and a bit crackery. On the palate, this is very malty, a bit sticky, with some pale bread notes and a hint of toast. Not bad for the style, actually. For once, it actually made me ask if I thought it really was a dortmunder. Most of the time in the US it isnt close at all. Cool.
