Funky aroma and taste which is on the solid malt back bone. Earthy Carmel flavors. Light rubber flavor and taste.

Dark yellow orange with an off white foam. Aroma of candied fruit, sugar, apples, pears, light and refreshing a touch of grassiness. Taste is more fruity sweetness, apples, pears. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 21, 2007
Notes from 06 knoxville brewers jam. Brown hazy pour. Very average flavor of light toasted malt and a little hops. A very average beer but very drinkable as well. muenster (345) - Sevierville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 15, 2006
Draught at Knoxville Brewer’s Jam ’06. Pours a cloudy orange copper color thin off-white head. Very sweet malty aroma, with some fruit and banana. The flavor is a bit hoppy, and rather sweet with a spice-like quality, and an almost wine-like feel in the mouth. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - OCT 21, 2005
Deep copper color. Wispy head. Slightly to moderately sweet. Moderate fizziness. Can’t taste the alcohol, but I suspect it is there. I guess it comes off slightly flat.

Draft at 2005 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Poured a cloudy amber color with a creamy head that quickly diminished. The aroma had an inviting mix of hops with banana, grass, and fruits noted. The flavor was lighter hops with citrus and banana detected. Light bitterness and a medium body. Very smooth and drinkable on a warm day. NachlamSie (3597) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2005
draught. It’s a nice red brew with a delicate head. Faint musty sweet aroma on this. The flavor is lightly hopped and malty with a faint pear sweetness. This reminded me more of a tasty red ale than the average Belgian style brew. 00cobraR (1103) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - OCT 31, 2004
This belgain style brew was orange that was a bit cloudy. had a fruity flavor with a nice finish. Brewgrass sampled brew that is worth another try. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - OCT 31, 2004

Cloudy Orange, Nice head. Musty, rustic aroma. Spicy, fruity flavors up front - orange peel, maybe? Significant but not obrusive hop bite, as well. Kind of fades toward the end, but a nice change of pace. Sampled at 2004 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam.
