Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Klare goldgelbe Farbe, kein Schaum. Geruch sehr fruchtig, reife Äpfel, leicht säuerlich. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig, reife Äpfel, Zitrone, spritzig. Erzengel (9080) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 15, 2015
Many thanks to McTapps for this bottle. Watery and sweetish beginning. Nice apple flavour, but very weak and not very deep. The apple-typical sourness in the aftertaste is nice, but not very intense. Very light body without deepness. No tannins, all in all very watery. Sad. Cuso (8880) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 25, 2014
Bottle from McTapps, many thanks Sabine. Pale golden color. Tart apples, vinous notes in aroma. Taste, fermented tart apples, with some sweetness in background. Dry tart finish. Nice, easy drinkable, dry apple wine. MichaelAwesome (6546) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - MAR 16, 2013
What a superb one ! Maybe the best cider / äbbelwoi of my life. Apple in the background but a huge mixture dryness and carbo. Great and easy going aftertaste. Seems to have no added sugar in. Very fine one. McTapps (6941) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2014 Cider is cider and German Apfelwein ain’t a typical sticky-sweet cider. What you get when you buy Apfelwein (or Most) is a pure and natural drink without any added sugar and stuff. It is just pure freshly pressed apples that were left fermenting for a couple of months in its own juice. This Apfelwein tastes of medium sour, light grenish apples combined with some floury dry apples. It is very easy and nice to drink, really refreshing and just "typical" Most.

Pale golden colour, no head. Aroma of apples, light white wine notes. Flavour fresh apple, light bitter, light acidity. Quite dry. Finish apple and white wine notes.

Quite different from what I’m used to in cider, but rather enjoyable.

Bottle from Kaufland, WormsMoritzF (10018) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 13, 2010
Pale blond color, big bubbles, no head. It has a mild aroma of plastic, but also very light hazelnuts, and some acidity. Thin body, no apple flavor, just some acidity with citrus tones; dry final. Poor as most German Ciders.
(bottle, 100cl, purchased at a local Netto market) Clear, pale golden colour without any head to speak of. Slightly sour apple-fruity aroma with mineralic notes. Slightly sour-tart flavour, light bodied with a shy carbonisation. Fruit-accented taste of green apples with a dry and slightly tart mouthfeel. Like a slightly diluted version of the common Possmann Applewine. Calm and drinkable. 07.IX10
