Copper. Medium bodied. Some medium bitter hops and sweet malt. A fairly straight forward DIPA kinda on the light side. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2015
Hazy, medium amber. Really rich, chewy, bitter, lots of crystal malt, really hravy-handed on the palate. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Draught at WA Brewers Festival, 2014. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a very small head on it. Nose is hop forward, as expected, with some resin and grassy notes to it. Taste is very bitter, and a bit earthy. Solid beer, and I did enjoy it. epruittftw (39) - fort worth, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2014
Very wimpy double ipa. Nothing over powering about it. Extremely average in taste and mouth feel. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Bottle:   Really piney, hoppy, with a somewhat sweet malty background.   A little pithy, some actual peel.   Hops seem pretty fresh, bright.   Enjoyable, could use a little more body to balance the big hoppiness.   Can’t tell its 8%.   Pretty good example, a little bruising but big hoppiness.   Only thing I would wish was a little more malt body and then we’d really have something.

Lightly cloudy copper with a thin beige head. Aroma is candy-like caramel malt and resinous, piney hops. Flavor follows suit: a little sweetness with solid piney hop presence and bitter finish. A bit of citrus. A solid, tasty DIPA. jweiss (18) - Washington, USA - JAN 6, 2014
Starts with a nose of citrus followed by a caramel sweetness. Has a fairly thick head for a DIPA. Medium carbonation in a light copper color. Nice chewy body with a pleasant bitter bite that lasts just right. Very impressed, few local breweries have successfully pulled of DIPA’s. robforbes (2279) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2012
pours a cloudy copper-orange with a large white head, and great lacing.
smell is of citrus, floral, hops, and caramel.
taste is smooth, caramel, some grain, a touch of citrus, and malt in the back. ends sticky, thick, and a touch of bitterness. tpb3jd (47) - University Place, Washington, USA - JUN 5, 2012
In the bottle from Tacoma Boys: Wine and vanilla notes with a powerful head and tea-like appearance. Taste is of whiskey and caramel with strong alcohol-dominated vapors. Interesting, from a small local brewer I don’t know well. I’ll have to check them out further. MarinaMarket (254) - POULSBO, Washington, USA - APR 29, 2012
Pours dark amber with nice head. Clear, piney hop and sweet malt aroma. Piney, malt forward flavor, lightly carbonated, and plenty of bittering hop finish. A nice Left Coast DIPA Tasted from the bottle at 52F.
