Draft at source. Smells and tastes of hippie. some fennel and weird earthiness. Mediocre

Tap, gold pour, white head, nose is lemon, taste is oranges, pretty good pale

Cybercat (5829) - Georgia, USA - MAY 23, 2015
Pours transparent dark copper with a fairly thick buff head. Malay aroma is not strong and not promising, but offers a little malt. Flavor, happily, provides far more: malty, woody, hoppy and caramel tones. Could that be a hint of hemp? Sorry, they used only the seeds. Firm body has some fizz, and leaves a nice woody finish.

a decent darker summer beer, but still light in taste and mouthfeel. pours a transparent brown color with a quickly dissipating head. definitely does not scream "hemp" but has a certain earthy quality to it. nice sweetness some hoppiness for interest. not my favourite from the wedge but decent nonetheless.

bubbleflubber (2226) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - APR 12, 2013
On tap at The Wedge, this pours a deep walnut with a thin eggshell cap. The nose is of grain and herbs. The flavors are malty, with some toasted herbs, grains/husks, finishing with grainy earthen bitters. The mouthfeel is a bit lighter with soft carbonation and medium body. Hits WELL on a gorgeous blue-sky day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at wedge... Pours a turbid caramel toffee brown hue and topped with a thin creamy white head... Husk and grainy nose with coinciding teal herbalness and sweet dark grains... Flavors are mildy sweet, somewhat watery, with malty caramel and toasted grain. A modicum of earthy bitterness comes through late. Lacking in flavor somewhat as the aroma offered more nuances. Ok.

Shag (3000) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - SEP 8, 2011
This poured a brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, and a bit of citrus. The flavor is both hoppy and malty with caramel and nutty flavor on one side and a citrus bite on the other. All hemp beers I’ve had are a little bit bitter, this is no exception. Overall a pretty good beer.

Pours brown from tap with an inch of white foam. Faint nuttiness on the nose. Some sweet maltiness on the tongue. Finishes has some hoppiness to it. Not bad.

Tap at wedge - pours a deep brown with a white head. Aroma is faint nutty funkiness. Taste is funky and a little bitter. Lingers for minutes with a nice creaminess. Very interesting!

Draft at brewer. Light brown with a thin white head. Scent is malts and nuts, so is the taste. Decent.
