On tap at The Tap, Feb. 13th, 2017. Dark ruby color, clear. No head. Mildly sweetish aroma of red grapes with a hint of honey, with a balancing mild stinger of citrus very much in the background. Very mild sweetness in the taste at first, a bit musty, too. Flowery notes and some grapes. A hint of cocoa I in the background. Some raisins in the middle, set against flowery hops and a bit of chocolate. Hoppy and malty touches in the finish, some chocolate in the aftertaste. Interesting.

Fra fat på Greyhound i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Ultramørk rubinrød. Nesten ikke skum. Anonym fruktaroma. Smaken papp med spor av frukt. Lite variasjon.

Cask, half-pint, at Greyhound in Derby. Deep, dark ruby body. Naked surface. Aromas of dark malts and leaves. Caramel malty flavours added by dark dough and a touch of liquorice. Mid-sweet ending. Medium bodied. Not bad at all (shared with Finn 16.02.2016).

imdownthepub (15330) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2015
Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Banbury. Chestnut with cream head. This was a sweet, malty beer with a mashy, tarty character. Fruity, sourish peach perhaps with some red berry. Average.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 08/04/14. A dark ruby coloured beer with an off-white head and lace. An apple and summer fruit aroma. Boozy in the mouth. Has a flavour of garibaldi biscuits soaked in booze. Interesting and tasty although you wouldn’t want more than one. Has a sherry note too.

Cask at the NWAF, Derby, ’14. Reddish brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of orchard fruit and some poorly scrawled reference that looks like ’deer mirt’.. well there’s a first.... I really must step into the modern world and purchase one of those flashy phone thingys.... anyway back on track.... flavours of toffee and orchard fruit. Quite dry. Not bad.
